Nice Booty!

Well, shiver me timbers Matey! Look what Virginia brings us today. A real life pirate: ARMATE. I just have to know though-- How many poopdecks do you have to scrub in order for the state of Virginia to put a picture of pirate ship on your plate?

Aye, I must note that while the back of this buccaneer's car is quite entertaining, we will still make him walk the plank for having a vanity plate. Sorry dude, those are the rules.

Shea managed to snap this photo for us. We have a barrel 'o grog for ya the next time you come 'round. Arrrrsome work.

As far as vanity plates go at least this person backed it up with a pretty consistant theme. Got give the credit for that.

It is a good thing that skelatal pirate pic is on the spare tire cover, or I wouldn't get ARMATE's meaning at all!

I think the thing that disturbs me most about this picture is that giant bird on that skeleton's shoulder. Doesn't it look like it could just peck that skull to pieces?

HLP -- A) Thanks for the fun blog!

B) That wouldn't surprise me at all considering that macaws (all parrots, but macaws in particular) have a rep for plucking people's eyes out when they get pissy.

Kids, don't let post-dinosaurids armed with wirecutters perch on your shoulder. Ever.

Speaking as a parrot lover, even parrots who "never bite" can finally hit puberty, get hormonal, and flip out. By then people have already (foolishly) trained them to expect to sit on shoulders. It's not pretty.

My boss's macaw bit (for the first time) and went all the way through his lip, for example. He's lucky it was just his lip.

Pirates and eyepatches... coincidence?!

Looks like one of Virginia's Jamestown 400th anniversary plates. Cool to think he got a pirate ship plate, I'd move to VA for that...

The entire back of this car rocks! The ship on the plate and the tire cover really pull the whole theme together. I usually just like to mock vanity plates, but this one is pretty cool.
