Don't Rave And Drive

I know to this driver it may seem like ecstasy to own a Mazda RX-8. To this driver I say, thanks for the message Mr. Obvious. If nothing annoys me more than a vanity plate, it's one with your make of car on it.

To me it looks like you have somewhat of a drug problem. RX is a symbol typically used for prescriptions. Ecstasy is a drug. Effects may include euphoria, decreased hostility and insecurity, and a tendency to dance like a fool for hours to nauseating techno music. Although this may also be attributed to being a douche bag.

Thanks for the submission Courtney E.!

I am glad you guys agree this one might be into drugs. I didn't know if I was just making it up in my head or not.

My husband and I HATE liscence plates that have the model and year of the car. It's almost like the driver is saying, "Hey. Just in case you couldn't tell what my car is by just LOOKING AT IT, I'm going to help you out." Or maybe the driver still isn't 100% sure of what he bought and needs someone to remind him. I bet he walks around the back of his car everytime he gets out just for a reminder.

Missed today: GDDYUP

This would have made sense if it had been on a Mustang. But no... it was on an Infiniti.

An old boyfriend pointed out to me that it annoys him as much to see the car's name listed as it does to see "my toy" on a plate.

Seriously. Is this car your toy? And more importantly to me, can I not see the make and model of your car clearly when I look above the plate?

Sigh.

But thanks for a great new, fun blog to follow. :-D
