I just poked your mom on facebook

Squeeze me, and I'll fart on you.

SQUEEZ comes to us from Courtney E: We were behind this car for a long time on our way to Austin. I don’t even get the meaning behind this plate. I did feel like “SQUEEZ”ing their head for having such a dumb plate. They got every letter except for the last “e”.

Brian P. sends us our first Hawaiian plate, POKE. Maybe this driver is a big Facebook fan? Or maybe they're just creepy? Either way, you're probably going to poke somebody's eye out with that thing.

See also, THRUST, HUMP, and LUV TAP (for more strangers touching you). *shudder*

Poke is also a Hawaiian delicacy that traditionally consists of fresh raw fish which is mixed with seaweed and kukui nut relish. :)

Since it's a Hawaiian plate, maybe it refers to that!

errm... I think a common theme here is to not take this stuff so literally. Laugh a little. This post was great. Especially that title!!!!

Thanks for the info Kristin. You learn something new everyday. :-)

I thought of the band Squeeze when I saw the first license plate. But I like how it fits into the theme. Ahem.

I too thought of the band Squeeze. In my younger days, I had quite the crush on Glenn Tilbrook. I was an odd child.

As for POKE, could they be going for pokey? Still not an ideal sentiment for a license plate, but it might make more sense.

But I'm guessing Kristin might be onto something too.

Hmmm. At first I was thinking something really gross, given the rainbow behind it - but then I saw Kristin's explanation. Thanks for clearing that up!

After these, do we get a SLAP?

Just wanted to pass on this plate from failblog, http://failblog.org/2009/04/23/license-plate-fail-3/#comments

Ya know what it is? It's because of all the extra vowels the people in Manassas use. I've seen Jeepe, Freeek, etc. The E doesnt seem to be the only vowel mis-used...the U gets it's share at times (Smuuth)

After checking out this post early in the a.m., I've had Mama's Got a Sqeezebox stuck in my head all day. Thanks for that.

Maybe the driver with the "poke" plate likes to drive really slowly, making him/her a slow poke.
