I got your Jeep thing. Now it burns when I pee.

Jeep owners are a unique breed, aren't they? Most of them sport those "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" decals across their windshields, and the only Jeep vanity plates I seem to get all mention that the car is, in fact, a Jeep. Zzzzz.

Let's get started shall we?
Our first comes from LadyStyx. I just want to clarify that this plate is on a Jeep. I UNDERSTAND, IT'S A JEEP.

Hhhhh.
Must. Use. Eight. Characters. JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP comes to us from Jennifer Deeeeee.

Sara S. sent in CJEEP GO.

Go Jeep, Go! Go out of my line of vision.

Okay, this driver gets a little credit for the ounce of creativity they somehow managed to squeeze from their Jeep dominated brain. EEP-J omescay omfray isLay. Eshay iteswray:

I saw this plate today and had to take the chance! While I guess it might fall into the "mildly humorous" category, since it was on a Jeep Cherokee the first thing that came to mind was "uh-day upid-stay!"

Osay uetray.

Woo-Hoo! I made the cut - very excited about my first find :)

There was a time I wanted to make up my own decal thingy that said "It's not a Jeep but I get it" and put it on my Buick Roadmaster - maybe I still will!

One day I saw "JEEP" (yes, it was one) parked next to "DEEP." No idea what DEEP was about. This was in a university parking lot, so it could have been anything from a philosophy major to a nickname for a guy named Sandeep, or a marine biologist or even a scuba diver. But I found the juxtaposition mildly amusing.

Actually, I doubt "DEEP" was a scuba diver. Any diver who felt the need to have a diving-related vanity plate would also feel the need to have one of those dive flag stickers, and this car didn't.

*laffin* My hubby peeked over my shoulder as I was starting to read the entry and upon seeing the first picture said "That's one my baby took!" *laffin*

Gotta love those drivers that insist on telling us via their plates what they're driving. As if we didn't already know. Got a few of them in that file...

Our first dog was named Jeep, I was 5 and my mom worked for the manufacturer.

I liked to say that Jeep had 4 wheel drive and could roll over. Grandma nicknamed her "Jeepski".

As a proud Jeep owner with "DRT" among the letters on my plate, I have to stand in defense of the Jeepers. Yes, they are a rare breed who have an irrational love for their trundly little vehicles.

You have to be a special breed of people if you willingly drive in a loud, bouncy, as-aerodynamic-as-a-cardboard box car, and who delights in seeing mud caked all over it, who gets more excited the older the Jeep is, who speaks their own Jeep language; CJ, TJ, YJ, etc... and who shares a little 'Jeep Wave' of "Hey I'm crazy like you" when they see eachother on the road.

Jeep people LOVE the brand. It's insane how much they do. It's because it's like the adult toy. It's like a giant lego kit on wheels that you can hose down when it's dirty.

So when they unoriginally put the brand-name on their plate, it's to profess their profound Jeep love, and also to make other Jeepers jealous that they got the plate with that on it. Surely. ;)

But the only *real* Jeep has flat fenders, people. The cherokee, grand cherokee, patriot, liberty... ::HAH!:: Not a Jeep.

*applause* for Hungarian Chick, you said it well! We have two Jeeps, both have "Jeep" inscribed on the Vanity plates. I loved your response and almost all of it is true, right down to the part where you say that other Jeeps aren't "real" Jeeps, we own a Wrangler YJ and and Jeep Commander Limited. Both profoundly different Jeeps, but Jeeps nonetheless and we love them both!!!
