Pretty sweet exhaust pipe visors, too.

I believe the only appropriate response to this would be:

*facepalm*

It's funny, too, because we only have one other vanity plate from South Dakota on the site and it's about guns. And I thought Virginia was scary. WTF S.D.?

I know there are probably a few of you scratching your heads with your faces all tilted up to the side, so here it is: It says MUFF DIVER. I suggest you *DO NOT* google this if you are one of the confused and just move right along...

Oh. my. god. How did this get past the DMV?! My jaw just dropped open when I saw this. People scare me.

I'm with Erika- I thought the DMV had rules or something in place.

Maybe the DMV person in charge of censoring plates is a 70 year old granny who doesn't have cable... or Internet... or read... or leave her house except for work?

Though if I saw it in person, I'd probably be disgusted and still laugh at it.

That was Cheeche's plate from Up in Smoke.

Apparently different states are more strict or lax about what they'll let you put on a plate. I kind of get the idea that VA will let you put just about anything on a plate as long as you hand over your $10.

Actually, maybe that's the defining factor: states with low fees for vanity plates get so many applications that they can't screen them all, while states with higher fees get fewer applications and can therefore screen them more carefully.

Maybe my boyfriend from Jr. High, Bob Muff, is into deep sea diving these days. What's so wrong with that??? (Yes, that's a real name.)
