ReplyDeleteYep. I agree with the theory *and* I also want to scream every time I see one of these. Usually I do scream, "No one needs a vehicle that big to go to [insert name of wherever I am]." My fiancé usually groans in mock embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteI have seen people driving Hummers in Helsinki. The current price of gas in Helsinki is about $7.44 a gallon. I don't understand how they can afford it.
ReplyDeleteThere used to be a guy here in Phoenix driving around in a hummer with a license plate of "GIMME A". I was surprised he got it through and I haven't seen it in awhile so maybe it got pulled. It did make me laugh the first time I saw it though, just the whole fact that it was that brazen.
