OREALLY? That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe this is the driver's response to
WAY SEXY,
HEVNSNT, or the
SH1ZN1T? One question still remains in my mind though—Should we fight vanity
with vanity? Personally, I would say no. I would have been the first in line to get my IMJDNU plate if that was the case. Also I had to post this plate so I could give a shout-out to my old friend the O RLY internet owl.
Kolleen, thanks for sending this one in!
So I am going on a road trip with my bff tomorrow. We both have cameras locked and loaded in case we come across anything plateworthy for you. Thanks for the morning chuckle!
ReplyDeleteSRSLY?! NOWAY! YESWAY!
ReplyDeleteAhh these little owls...fond memories. I got really irritated with a co-worker and sent her the ORLY owl as a reply to an email. She thought it was cute. *facepalm*
Kind of interesting to see that they made the jump to license plates. I still wish I'd gotten the "KTHXBAI" one for my car. *sigh*
Maybe it's their last name? That would be a terrible last name though now that I think about it. You would have all those smartass telemarketers messing with you all the time. No one deserves a last name that when pronounced sounds like it has a question mark at the end of it.
ReplyDeletewhat I really wish that I'd done is get a picture of the license plate that said 4REALZ ...ugh.
ReplyDeletethis would make such an awesome coffee table book....lol
yay! I LOVE THIS ONE MOST.
ReplyDeletetoo bad i didnt have my camera ready for GANDHI. i saw that one yesterday~!
I have a feeling that Kolleen and I see a lot of the same plates. Merrimack Valley, represent.
ReplyDeleteLooks bad with that "Live free or die" sentiment right above it. Where's your state spirit!!
ReplyDeleteMy theory: They're fans of The O'Reilly Factor...but OReilly was taken.
ReplyDeleteI really want to know where in NH this one was spotted.
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying the plates, but I'm also getting a laugh out of some of the mottoes the various states have on their plates. I'm an Aussie, and ours are pretty lame by comparison. To me, "Live free or die" sounds like a threat :D
ReplyDeleteHaha! This srsly just made my day!
ReplyDeleteMy sister, back when she lived in New Hampshire, had a license plate reading O-RLY. Before I scrolled down all the way and saw the full plate, I thought it was hers!
ReplyDeleteThis whole site is great, by the way XD
