Deb: What are you drawing?
Napoleon Dynamite: A liger.
Deb: What's a liger?
Napoleon Dynamite: It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.

I wonder if this car was built for its skills in magic?
Thanks for the tots Jen H.!
I've always loved that the liger had spines. Like somewhere along the line, its grandma had an illicit affair with an iguana.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Utah and though Napoleon Dynamite is Idaho based, I still relate, more than I care to admit. Also, the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake has an actual Liger (which is now taxidermied in a glass case.) My dad can remember when she was alive.
ReplyDeleteSad to say, no spines included.
As much as I like the movie, this plate stinks.
ReplyDeleteWell, it could be cute maybe in another state, but being in Wis, it's just cheesy - bwaaahahahaha! Sorry.
ReplyDeleteIt took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done.
ReplyDeleteSweet. I got skills.
ReplyDeleteCan you bring me my chapstick?
ReplyDeleteNAPoLEON.....YEEEEAAAAHHHHH. I didnt think Ligers were real until I saw that film. Great post.!!!
