First up is METLICA brought to us by Kolleen who writes:
The Metallica one is my friend's plate-- She's a HUGE Metallica fan for some ungodly reason. She even has their logo tattooed on the back of her neck. I keep trying to tell her that I question if Metallica was ever good, but she's not buying it. Oh well.

This Post Goes To 11
Kat sent in STRYPER. Does anyone remember these guys? All I have to say after watching that video is that those are some very impressive perms.
And lastly, we have Megadeth. Forged in the bowels in hell.
Jen H. snapped BONJ[heart]V. You give vanity plates a bad name. More impressive perms and pyrotechnics here.
Thanks Georgina S.!

I<3JMAYER.
Just saying.
(Plus I haven't heard of a few of those bands, but in my defense? Not into the hard stuff.)
Just in time for my early morning head banging. Wasn't stryper a Christian hair metal band? I totally remember those guys.
yea my pic was used and I would never of guessed in this context. Funny!
Surprised that the Bon Jovi plate wasn't a New Jersey plate.
Those are clever.
Yes! Metallica sucks! But I have to admit, I love that megadeth one. A tout la monde is a great song.
As I said before, nh has a 'metal' plate, but its just some metalsmith. What a waste of a plate.

I'm pretty sure the STRYPER plate belongs to a stripper.
Rock on!
I'm amused that they're almost all from states in the Northeast. (Although, does Bon Jovi really count?) We do like our hard rock and metal up here. :)
Yuck. I detest rock music. I have no words to describe my feelings for metal. When I hear it, I can actually feel my brain melting.
Head banging does cause brain damage!
@Miss Kolleen: For shame! You have to at least thank Metallica for kicking the alcoholic Dave Mustaine out of the band, prompting him to form Megadeth. "A Tout Le Monde" is a decent song, true, although stylistically it's far removed from their standard fare (similar in that respect to Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters").
@FreedomFirst: In most cases that's the desired effect. :)
Rockin choices!
Well.... They were all big in the 80's.. and while it's sad, it was the era of the perms, big hair, and psychedelic colors....
and yes... Stryper was a "christian metal band"... I had a cassette tape of theirs... gawd I can't stand the 80's!!!
