Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're an...

I'd like to thank LadyStyx for sending me this plate she found via the FAIL blog. Why yes, that does read, BUTTHOLE.

More parking available in the rear.

Get 'er done

Not the greatest vanity plate in the world, but I will still present to you GOTIT DN (Got it done?) from Jenna Lee A. The reason I posted this, however, is to warn you that you should never, ever put the word TIT on your license plate. People are going to go there (Go Tit Dan?). Actually, they just did.

Got 'er did, Tit Dan.

More misinterpretations...

Since it's one of my favorite categories, I am going to bring you a few more misinterpretations for your viewing pleasure today.

Our first is from LadyStyx who helps us out with this misinterpretation: Ok. This could be their way of saying that they miss Arizona. It could also be their way of expressing their preferences (some families go to the beach, az 4 us, we'd rather be in the mountains). OR it could be the vehicle of butt aficionados...
Next we have LTSGOSX from Jason G. "Let's go Sox," right?

Or, "Let's go sex." Uh, no thanks.
Our last is from Crystal, 1BEBE. She writes: Did the shark eat 1 bebe?

I mean, you have to laugh because that looks exactly like what is happening on that plate.

Mmm. Tasty, tasty bebes.

I'm so hood.

Erin writes to us: I regret to inform you that this license plate does, indeed, say "PHAT BBY". I also regret to inform you that the driver of the car was, indeed, on the larger side.

PHAT, for those of you who don't know, is an acronym for Pretty Hot And Tempting. And I'm sorry, but it is just WRONG to put those words in front of the word "baby." Esh. Baby Phat, maybe, but Phat Baby? Someone call the cops.

FOSHIZZ was captured by J.D. "Fo Shizz" is a bastardization of "Fo shizzle," which is a bastardization of "fo' sheezy," which is a bastardization of "for sure," which is a bastardization of "I concur."

Yeah, so do I.

I have no friends. It's just me and the voices.

RU CRAZY (Are you crazy)? The answer is simple. Yes, you are crazy for putting the word NUT on your license plate. There are several well known definitions of the word nut, one of which is crazy, the other is, well, you know...

Our first nut is from Carm. She writes: "... Are happy nuts!!!"

In that case, please do no operate heavy machinery.
NUTS4OH (Nuts for Ohio?). I put the "Oh" in Ohio. And that's more of an, "Ohhh?" rather than an, "Ohhh!"
Five?! Maybe you should have a doctor take a look at that.

Our nut plates came from:
Shae M. - RU CRAZY
Melani X. - 5 NUTZ
Amanda - NUTS4OH
Georgina S. - IM NUTZ

Proof that smart people don't drive smart cars

Ah, the smart car. It's amazing that you can fit all of that ego into such a tiny vehicle! Matt B. sent in GUD 4GAS (Good for gas?). He writes: Apparently the new smart cars run on something called 'gud' ?

Crazy Cat Lady Carm sent in BEE SMRT (Be Smart). I am guessing that this driver chose that because his car looks like a bee. And maybe he likes to give unsolicited advice.

Sara sent in SMRT 1. I'm so clever sometimes I don't understand a word of what I'm saying. I just love being *so* smart.

Your son Rip is on line toot

KSMYGAS (Kiss my gas). The license plate holder says, "My Car $tarve$ Terrorits. Does Yours?" Whaaaat?

I think using dollar signs to replace S's is your first strike. Your second strike is using capital letters throughout a sentence. Your third strike is simply, OMG you're an idiot.

Please don't get me wrong. I am all for conserving energy, hybrid vehicles, cash for clunkers, and all of that good stuff. Yes, traditional cars cause smog, but hybrid cars cause smug, and in our opinion that is way worse.

Quiet, please!

Melody writes:

This license plate is my husband's - and I love it!!! After he bought the Smart car, he had the brilliant idea to request a plate saying "Not Dumb" (note the location of the Smart logo) - but in the week between checking availability of the plate and actually submitting the request, someone else snapped up his idea. He came up with this instead! :-)

I like it too, Melody. There are a few plates that make us chuckle and think that maybe this vanity plate thing isn't so bad. To all the lame vanity plates out there, however, they can still GO STFU. KTHXBYE!

Trunk is full of P00P

A55 comes to us from April M. She writes:

[A55], if it really is supposed to say "ass" I can't imagine who would seriously want to label themselves as such with their license plate. Unless they are labeling that area of their car as the car's "ass."

As we have seen previously, 5s seem to be an alternate for the letter S on some vanity plates. I'm not sure if this is just random luck, or intentional, but whatever it is made me laugh. It's like that shark is screaming, SAVE OUR SEAS, you ass.

I'm thinking Arby's

RST BEEF comes to us from Erica B.

She writes: I was on a 2nd date with a guy when I busted out laughing in the middle of a street upon finding this gem! I'd been on the lookout for funny plates ever since my friend turned me on to your site... I proceeded to explain to my date what RST BEEF meant and why I had to take a picture to send to a website dedicated to ridiculous vanity plates. Funny, I never went out with him again.

Hey Arby's, do I get any free sandwiches from this post? Hmm? Probably not.

This corresponding gem comes to us from Kolleen. My first name ain't baby, it's Roast. Mister Beef, if you're nasty.

Ferfect

This first plate comes from one of my favorite sites, Cute with Chris. I am re-posting it here, but click on the photo to go to his site. I promise hours of entertainment.

Jim in OHIO writes: "...My boyfriend Joey took this picture in the Chapel Hill Mall parking lot. A CCL obviously rocks out in this cat mobile on her drive to the mall to buy yarn to knit kitty cat sweaters."

Since everyone seemed to enjoy yesterday's cat theme, I thought another cat post was in order. The CwC submission was just icing on my cat cake. Meow, let's get down to business...
How many cats do you need to be classified as a crazy cat lady? I think if you have 9, well, you are beyond help. (From Gina T)LadyStyx saw CATZRLE (Cats Rule) and sent this to me last night. If you are getting this kind of phrase plastered on your car, you might be a crazy cat lady.

KTY GAL (Kitty Gal?) comes to us from Tracy. I know this might be "Kentucky Gal," but let's stick to the theme here. This driver loves the kittehs. They taste just like chicken. Finally, I am submitting my own work. It's been a while, I know, but I lost my camera and had to find a replacement. Good thing I found one in time to capture KAT KR8Z. Not only are you crazy, but you misused your 8 there (Cat Craightzee?). INSANE.

I think I am going to add the word ferfect to the urban dictionary. The state of being both perfect and cat themed; An oxymoron.

UPDATE: Ferfect!

I Brake For Sweet Tea

When I first saw this one I was like, cross my grates? What does that even mean? And then Lauren M. kindly explained the lovely message on this one for us: There's nothing like Southern hospitality. Telling the person driving behind you to "Kiss my grits," is just so genteel.

Indeed. Y'all sure send me some funny plates.

Dr. Richard Wiener

IFXDK. I mean, what do you think it means? Probably what I thought it meant at first... Maybe he's a Urologist? So did the sender of this plate, Kati K., who informed me this guy is actually a dentist: I know that I should read this as “I fix decay.” However, my mind will only allow me to think more along the lines of, um… urology shall we say? So now this sweet unassuming guy is forever in my mind “Dr. Dick.”

Leigh sends us IH82CDK (I hate to see [DK?]). Maybe this person works for the Urologist? Not a fan of men? Hater of Donkey Kong? I hate to see decay? Now that I think of it, maybe he is a dentist too. So for all those dentists out there reading this: You should probably be more specific next time.

Uh-oh. Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays.

Bill Lumbergh: So, Peter, what's happening? Aahh, now, are you going to go ahead and have those TPS reports for us this afternoon?
Peter Gibbons: No.
Bill Lumbergh: Ah. Yeah. So I guess we should probably go ahead and have a little talk. Hmm?
Peter Gibbons: Not right now, Lumbergh, I'm kinda busy. In fact, look, I'm gonna have to ask you to just go ahead and come back another time. I got a meeting with the Bobs in a couple of minutes.
Bill Lumbergh: I wasn't aware of a meeting with them.
Peter Gibbons: Yeah, they called me at home.

Our thanks goes to dizzblnd for sending in this photo. She actually asked the driver of this vehicle if she could take a picture of this plate for the website, and according to her, he wasn't fazed at all. So thanks to you both. I actually think this plate is quite funny. For your courteous submission, I make you an official member of the plate-arazzi!

Oh, and next Friday is Hawaiian shirt day. So, you know, if you want to you can go ahead and wear a Hawaiian shirt and jeans.
