Today we will be looking at a few plates from the popular toys, Transformers. Justin sent in today's first plate, DCPTKON (as in Decepticon, from the Transformers). Was Megatron already taken?
This plate seems a little more believable, WITWIKY. The Witwicky family members are fictional characters from the Transformers universes, and are the closest human allies of the Autobots. (Plate is from Laura P.)
Another DSEPTCN (Decepticon)?! And it's on a PT Cruiser? You've got to be kidding me! There is no way a Decepticon would turn into something as lame as a PT Cruiser. Sorry. Totally not believable. (Plate from Saint N.)
Anyone have an Optimus Prime plate to share? Although, OPTMSPRM looks like something I wouldn't put on a vanity plate either.

Episode II: Attack of the Vain
I had a request to post some of my favorite Star Wars finds. I am doing this not because they are necessarily horrible, just extremely geeky. This series will be in two parts, Episodes I & II. I am releasing episode II before I, however, because I am Mrs. HLP, princess of the Plate Rage People (and I do want I want).
Laura P. sent in our first plate: RUJEDI2. She writes:
This one took me a minute. I finally figured out it said "Are you Jedi too." .... but we're in Idaho. I thought we raised master pitchfork wielders, not light saber wielders!
That's QUI-GON Jinn to you! Just need to work on your aim.Probably on the way to his mom's house (Oh and I have her plate too. See: Luke... hhhhh... I am Your Mother). May the Force guide you out of my lane, Sir! (JEDI plate is from Jason G.)

Duh
Stephanie from Spelling Disasters sent us IN DEBT. She writes:
My daughter & I spotted this little, yellow Hummer parked at Ross Dress For Less yesterday. I guess with the high gas usage and over-the-top sticker price of this behemoth, the owners have been forced to discount shop. Poor babies.
Yeah, it must be terrible.

It happens.
Laura P. captured this HLP gem, SHT. That's right. Go ahead and put your imaginary "I" in there. She writes:
"SHT"? And how did this get through screening?
I don't know. I imagine that the response of most drivers when they see this is something like: You have got to be shtting me!

I'm not spoiled, people just love me.
How do I express my ability to show my excessive, self-centered, and immature behavior? Hmm, how can I show lack of consideration for other people, recurrent temper tantrums, an inability to handle the delay of gratification, demands for having one's own way, obstructiveness, and manipulation?? I know, I'll get a VANITY PLATE.
Brianne O. sent in A BRAT and wrote: The little kid in me can't help but respond to this, "I know you are but what am I?"
Check out this plate that Laura P. sent to us, DABRATT. The license plate hold reads, "Always late, but worth the wait." Try not to injure your eye sockets from the sheer force of your eye balls rolling back into them. Might be a fan of the rapper too?
This BRAT comes from Georgina S. I don't know, maybe these people are really big fans of bratwurst? Because nothing says "vanity plate" to me like slang words for German sausage, you know?
Finally we have X BRAT X from LadyStyx. That "X" theme seems to be a popular trend in vanity plates these days. Idea get rejected? Just put X's around it!Posted by HorribleLicensePlates at 5:40 AM 6 comments

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am
I am assuming MC LOVIN was already taken, or this car is filled with McNuggets and runs on Shamrock Shakes.
You know what would be excellent? An L and an E.Posted by HorribleLicensePlates at 5:56 AM 9 comments

Who needs Prozac when you have vanity plates to tell you how to feel?
B HAPPEE. Because really folks, it's just that easy, right? I think I would be happier if the plate read BE HAPPY, because then at least it would be spelled correctly. If there is one concept that vanity plate owners can't seem to grasp is that it's very hard for the rest of us to take you seriously, especially with a botched statement such as this attached to your car.
ENJOYLF: Enjoy life. I thought this plate would be a nice complement to B HAPPEE. And by "nice complement" and I mean, "Uhhhggghhhh."
Note: Holiday = Travel. Travel = Vanity Plates + Disgruntled Drivers. Please send your plates and stories to horriblelicenseplates[at]gmail[dot]com.
