Very few plates are put into our actually funny category, and this one from Sarah fits the bill -- TWSS (That's what she said). She writes:
Ok, I'm a huge Office fan and this actually made me laugh. A good TWSS goes a long way!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this guy pulled out in front of me the other day...

I laughed so hard when I saw it.

I'm on my way to Georgia. Looking for a soul to steal.
Allen took today's photo of "ATAN." He writes:
Took this picture a few years ago. Not the best quality as it was taken from the car. It takes advantage of a Michigan State University license plate.
It certainly does. Now, instead of showing their love of the Spartans, this driver's plate reads: SATAN. Great, you are the devil. How pleasant.
More Satan plates here, if you are into that sort of thing.

WHY CAN'T I SEE THIS BEER?!?!
EYEBREW is from Sarah. I am pretty sure they were going for something along the lines of, "I brew." However, that is a very unique way of putting it, right? Eye Brew? Sounds more to me like you are fermenting eyeballs.
Who wants a pint? Anyone??

There certainly is...
We got this email the other day, and thought I would share. Take it away anonymous plate submitter:
This plate I saw yesterday struck me as interesting because is was on a Mercedes-Benz R320 SUV, which is the most vane of all SUVs and also the ugliest. And vanity plates, by there very nature, are vane but it admits it's ugly which isn't vane, unless they were using reverse physiology, in which case it is extra vane. There is a lot going on here.
(This is just more proof that vanity plates are the bane of our existence.)

Barely Illegal
Sarah sent in 18 N UP (18 and up). I am assuming this is referring to a law that describes how it's illegal to have sexual relations between two individuals when one of the participants is below the legal age to consent to that behavior. In this case, it's 18 years old.
But I am still trying to figure out why this driver would put this on a PUBLIC vanity plate. I'm pretty sure you'll impress NO ONE with this plastered on the back of your car.
Reminds me of this related vanity plate fail: Hide your children.

I freaking pwn you
Summon your inner geek (go ahead, I'll wait) and enjoy these extremely 133+ plates I've hand picked for you today.
PWNZ GAS is from Colleen S, who informs me this was on a Toyota Prius (a hybrid). According to wikipedia, pwn is a leetspeak slang term derived from the verb "own", as meaning to appropriate or to conquer to gain ownership. The term implies domination or humiliation of a rival, used primarily in the Internet gaming culture to taunt an opponent who has just been soundly defeated (e.g., "You just got pwned!").
We must thank our RPGAMERs for such a s00perb linguistic dialect. RPGAMER was snapped by Squidrox. I like how this person is so proud of their nerd-dom.
PWNNOOB is from sara-liz. A n00b, according to the urban dictionary is an inexperienced and/or ignorant or unskilled person. Especially used in computer gaming. So basically, this person is stating something like:
"Sir, I dominated you based on your lack of experience in this particular skill, specifically, driving. Now use your signal, and kindly remove yourself from the passing lane." kthxbye.

At The Same Time
Okay when I first saw this plate I instantly thought of this scene from Office Space (and this plate too):
Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money.
Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.
Peter Gibbons: Good point.
Lawrence: Well, what about you now? what would you do?
Peter Gibbons: Besides two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Well, yeah.
Peter Gibbons: Nothing.
Lawrence: Nothing, huh?
Peter Gibbons: I would relax... I would sit on my ass all day... I would do nothing.
Lawrence: Well, you don't need a million dollars to do nothing, man. Take a look at my cousin: he's broke, don't do [crap].
But the real story comes from Heidi, who sent this plate in:
Full disclosure: [this] one is actually my dad's plate. He and my stepmom grow organic produce as a hobby and got two chickens earlier this year. One of the original chickens has since disappeared, and a few more baby chicks (chix?) have been acquired. That's the true story of that plate, but I do wonder what other people think it means.
Not as funny as the Office Space scenario, but it's always nice to find the true meaning behind people's vanity plates. Most of you still remain a mystery.

Warning, Your Nickname Might Be Slang for "Crotch"
POOTIR: A kid that is full of gas and farts all the time - Urban Dictionary.
This is a stretch, but maybe you were going for the word "pooter?" I know that's what I saw when I first glanced at this plate. But isn't that a va-jay-jay? You know, your hoo-ha? Or is it Kentucky slang for a computer? Who knows!
You should probably do a little research the next time you apply for a vanity plate. Just sayin'.
Thanks Mark for your wonderful contribution to our blog. Now make it viral!

Sounds Contagious
Interpretation: Shiznit. This is our first vanity plate coming from the state of Michigan, and it disturbs me. The DMV workers must not speak idiot there, because they let this one go right out the door. Although I can see how it is an easy mistake. My spell check keeps wanting to correcting this word to "Chianti."
The good people of HorribleLicensePlates agree that the driver of this vehicle is quite the opposite of the SH1ZN1T (which according to the Urban Dictionary means "...phenomenal, bi-atch!"). We like the fact that you used "1"s instead of "I"s, because you, like most vanity plate owners, have mastered the English language. Our thanks goes to Michelle and Andrew for sending in this photo. We think you're the cat's pajamas.
