I agree with Courtney E. (who sent BLANK to us) that this was probably the scene at the DMV that day:
Truck owner: Errr, how 'bout one of them vanity license plates?
DMV: Alright, that's an extra $20. And what would you like it to say?
Truck Owner: I just want it blank. haHA.
DMV [with an evil twinkle in her eye]: Blank it is. Move along.
Three weeks later Truck Owner receives his plate with “BLANK” on it.
And scene.
That's what you get for listening to a paperclip. Thanks for the submission Kati M.!

OMgosh I laughed so hard when I saw that clippy graphic. That is so funny. Probably the most annoying thing on my computer is that stupid paperclip.
He is a bit pompous, isn't he?
Ha, those plates are great! Gotta watch what you say because the DMV takes you literally, lol!
One time my mom ordered a plain pizza, meaning cheese, and got plain baked crust, no sauce, no cheese. I'm thinking that DMVs are a lot like pizza places in that way.
I suppose it's kind of like the I want sprinkles cake?
:) So funny
That is a match made in heaven Jen H.!
Wow, those plates are so creative...NOT.
OMG, Clippy! He turns up in the oddest places, and always makes me LOL.
Lol.
I love BLANK, lol!!!! too funny!
I would bend that annoying Clippy until his own mother wouldn't recognize him.
Fun fact about Illinois vanity plates: you have to pay extra if you don't want a number at the end of it for a car or at the beginning for a truck.

For some plates that works, for others it just makes them look like AOL screen names.
Which made me wonder how many of those bland Illinois plates were the same as the owners' AOL screen names / ISP account names / forum name etc.
