Look, your name might be Michael, Mandy, or Michelle Rogers, but as I drove past you all I could think of was: Mr. Rogers.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Those cardigan sweaters are pretty irresistible, no? What about a "speedy delivery" from Mr. McFeely (does anyone else McFeel like that's an inappropriate name and catch phrase for a mailman on a children's television show)? And let's not forget the trolley that takes you to the Neighborhood of Make Believe where a tiny king rules over a land of crazy humans and hand puppets. Um, why do all children's shows make me feel like I've licked the back of a magical toad?
Remember: You can make each day special by just being you (use of a turn signal helps, too).

I loved that show!!! Mr McFeely and Mr Rodgers were two of the sweetest guys in the world (I had the pleasure of meeting both in my youth). The passing of Fred Rodgers was a very sad day.
Anyway, this plate is very cool.
Don't forget Mr. Rogers' sneakers!
That show truly creeped me out.
Careful Mr. R, don't squeeze that gorilla too hard!
Lol. I think it is supposed to be the person's name, given the difference in spelling. I see a lot of plates here in PA with either two sets of initials or what could only be a last name. But I agree about the name "Mr. McFeely." I wonder if anyone has that on a plate? Lol. I don't think it was supposed to imply that on the show, however.
LOL Freedom...if they did, I'd suspect them of being a sexual offender..
My mom would never let me watch that show growing up.. therefore, my kids were also "deprived" I think she thought he was a little on the gay side, so it freaked her out a bit... I dunno
The puppets in the Neighborhood of Make Believe creeped me out! Lady Elaine with that big, swollen red nose...scary!!
Aw, I loved that show but I was also very young. I remember the train, and the sweaters, and his sneakers :)
He would go out on tours of local places to if i recall....man does that ever bring back memories.
Monsieur Rogers
McFeely was actually Fred Rogers' middle name, and his mother's maiden name: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Rogers
(I just found this blog and I have been going through all the old posts. Please forgive a comment on an older post. :D)
