Really, Really, Ridiculously Good Looking

Laura P. sent in this lovely plate: SVELTE. Svelte as in, "attractively or gracefully slim; slender." She writes:

This was on a college campus, but in the students defense, it was in the employee parking area. So who exactly is this "svelte" professor?

Oh wait, I just received this e-card from her:

Heros in a half shell

There are occasional vanity plates I find myself getting pumped about. This happens to be one of them. TRTLPWR (Turtle power!) is the force that inevitably comes with being a pizza-hungry super mutated reptile who fights crime. I'm talking, of course, about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a staple of my childhood. The TMNTs also spawned this great song from Vanilla Ice: Go ninja, go ninja, go! Oh, the 90s.

Here I am. Now what are you other 2 wishes?

ILUVME is from Lori A. She gives us a little more insight into the driver of this narcissist-mobile: This snazzy little two-seater convertible was parked in the visitor spot at my work... In addition to my company, who almost never gets visitors, this building has financial services and a bunch of lawyers. Guesses as to who we're dealing with here?
SBOUTME (It's about me) is from Heidi. Her reaction was the same as mine: Self-absorbed, much?
Our last plate today comes from Jessica B., IM2MUCH (I'm too much).

Why yes, you certainly are.

I guess there is a reason they call them vanity plates, eh?

I don't need to grow up and get a life. I'm a gamer. We have lots of lives.

John S. managed to snap a picture of this geeky vanity plate, 1 UP. He writes:

I had to resist the urge to head-butt this truck to see if I would get an extra life.

... As in Super Mario Brothers. From wikipedia I learned: These mushrooms have green caps with white spots (originally orange caps with green spots). When Mario picks up one of these mushrooms, he is given an extra life... In some games, these are called "Ultra Shrooms", which replenish large amounts of health.

Ultra geeky, but I kind of like it.

I'm not bossy, I just have better ideas

UNZWAY (You in zee way?) Even if I am in the way, your "cute" accent doesn't change my mind about your plate– It's very annoying. (Picture submitted by Brinn M).

OUTDWAY (Outt'da Way!) comes to us from Mari. To the driver: There are much nicer ways to ask. How about, "Excuse me, Ma'am?"
A nice response to the two above plates is NVRMOVN, sent to us by AJ. Call me crazy, but isn't the point of having a car TO MOVE FROM PLACE TO PLACE?

See a plate you want to send to us? Snap a picture of it and send them to us at horriblelicenseplates [at] gmail [.] com. And check out our Facebook fan page while you're at it.

Cute As A Bug

So I have to admit, this plate is funny. It's rare occurrence when someone sends us pictures of their own plate. I think most people fear our severe plate rage (and rightfully so), but with this submission we actually thought EWWABUG was quite clever. Welcome to the actually funny category Morgan. Now can someone pass me the Raid?

Do What Now?

Jen in Utah sent us this plate. I had the same feelings as she did:

Whatcha thinking? Doing? I sat there forever hating this plate for not finishing its sentence.

Agreed.

Maybe they are a fan of Whatchamacallits? If so this is the most terrible license plate evAR. BLEH!

Or maybe they were going for whachamahuh? The Urban Dictionary defines whachamahuh as:

1. I'm out of it don't mind me; 2. I am out of it, fill me in on what just happened; 3. I am out of it and almost beyond recovery; 4. I am beyond recovery don't even bother to fill me back in.

Yeah, I am beyond recovery right about now.
