Lesson 1: Why You Should Never Shorten Words

This could mean one of two things:

ONE: Hot Ember

This is totally a reasonable explanation. I think this is a fire safety plate too, so that makes sense. Still, this is a pointless, mind-numbing addition to the pile of plates over here at VP:CI8COL.

TWO: Hot Member

Can you see why this was probably a bad choice? The Urban Dictionary defines a hot “member" as:

the male organ used for poping mamas, or women with great hotential, also refurred to as a bonosaursus (sic)

BWHAHAHAH! Do you have great hotential?

My first reaction was definitely "hot member", and even though I realize it's actually "hot ember", it's too late....I can't stop seeing "member", lol

I thought 'hot ember' too. I guess the fire department emblem was supposed to give us all a clue that it was 'hot ember'. Too bad. I bet they get lots of comments.

I immediately saw the HT as Hit. No reason, I just did. Once I was mentally stuck with that, I realized that with the rather limited for choices for MBR part...

Haha! You said bonosaurus.

That is freakin hilarious! I prefer hot member and love the definition out of the urban dictionary!

All I can see is hot member. The ember bit would have 1) taken recognition that that's a firefighter plate, 2) that the more salacious and thus what comes to mind first "member" meaning didn't apply, and 3) that the sounding of the letter on "plate speak" applies here.

Very funny idea for a blog. I have seen a couple plates I liked
EDUK8R is one,
but just the other day on the way to the city I saw about 6 ones I couldn't even figure out what they were supposed to mean.
