Uh, could someone, like, tell me where the @*&^% the other half of my SUV went!?! I am kind of FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW. Thank goodness I have this personalized plate to commemorate this day though. I never want to forget this. Also, I would like to endlessly annoy everyone around me.
Who knows what this driver is really thinking. Last I checked a Toyota Highlander was a whole-lotta-SUV. Maybe it could be have an SUV? Eh, it still sucks.
Much love to LadyStyx, once again, for her awesome submission!

If it was on an Avalanche I could kind of understand it since those things always make me think the back half has mysteriously disappeared.
This is odd...maybe there was some serious damage to the front end?
Virginia. Why?! Are all the people there really this desperate for a personalized plate?!
This site is so fun! I am so glad I discovered it today!
That just makes no EFNSNZ!
Saw one today but I was turning so I couldn't get a picture. It was "QUIMPR". The only think I could think of was a combination of "quiver" and "wimper". He must be a scary guy.
Ha! Fun SUV
???
stupid plate, ha.
I hear ya ydont! These have got to be the vainest people ever around here (then again, Im only 35 miles SW of DC too...that might explain it). I was telling MsHLP in the email that I travel maybe 3-4 main roads in my area and only 1-2 times a week. I always come back with at least 5-6 pix of these plates and for every one I snap, I've missed 2 more. Top things off, I've only seen 1 more than once. Yeah, Im in a very fertile area...
I think it's a really horrible attempt at "Have Fun SUV." Seriously - how many people who would think that this license plate makes any sense would know that you use "an" instead of "a" in front of SUV because of the vowel sound. Let's be realistic here. :-P
I saw one in Mass yesterday - SRBRINA. Serbrina? Um, OK.
@Courtney - lol, it's probably Sabrina... but I was thinking...
Sirbrina - A man's vagina
Maybe it's a hybrid Highlander?
LOL, the whole half an SUV theory reminds me of (dating myself here) back in the late 80s when MTV had the Half-Hour Comedy Hour. Gilbert Godfrey had a promo bit for it and he said - in all of his Gilbert Godfrey-ness - "If it's half *ours*, who does the *other* half belong to?" Totally random and irrelevant, but then again so is this license plate. :-)
LadyStyx, it's not just the metro areas of VA covered with vanity plates. I live in a really rural area and after discovering this site last week, my husband and I ran to the grocery store. We counted no less than 6 or 7 vanity plates on our five minute drive to the store. We've already submitted two to MsHLP and are attempting more.
My dad, also in a rural area, has said for a long time that VA must have issued more vanity plates than any other state. Also that we must have more decorative plates.
We lived in VA for a few years, and you can get pretty desparate for diversion-I mean, we used to have to drive 25 minutes to get to a decent playground for the kids. I can totally see getting so bored that these plates start to look really clever.
I wonder if "half a SUV" is the same idea in this article about SUV-car crossover vehicles?
Oh, and just discovered your site, I love it! I wish my family still had grandpa's vanity plates so I could post them -- SAYM2U and SAYM2U2. :o)
LadyStyx, yet another awesome plate :) I think you may have more fertile hunting grounds than I do in the City of Angels! *bows down*
Missed plate of the day: SPDRGRRL - can't you just fling yourself around the city at that point?
well.. they DO live in VA it explains a lot!
I was thinking HA! effin' SUV
LOL, I see stupid plates all the time in VA Beach. In fact when I graduated high school, there was two color pages of the yearbook for...you guessed it...vanity plates of students!
Want to know the funny thing? I don't drive, never have and never will.
